FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY EVALUATIONS
Physical and cognitive work capacity assessments to objectively indentify the residual functional capacity of a worker having suffered an injury or disease.
At the AAPP clinic, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the worker will simulate various tasks according to a strict protocol. Load manipulation, sitting and standing tolerance, hand dexterity, cognitive skills, such as concentration, memory, and attention, etc, will be evaluated on the basis of a specific job or of the overall capacity of the worker.
A detailed report will be released to the applicant to help make informed decisions regarding the reinstatement of the worker to their previous employment or to supervise their rehabilitation.
