This focuses on the clients needs and is adapted to their work environment. Our Occupational Therapists have over 12 years of experience, and work closely with our kinesiologist. With this blog, our goal is to provide you with simple strategies to build and maintain healthy lifestyle habits and optimize physical health.

Putting these tools and strategies in place is key to maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Throughout the Occupational Therapy program, the client is encouraged to be proactive. This is done by improving their physical endurance, cognitive capacities, and self-confidence. As a result, the client learns to structure their routine. They also receive psychological education to help alter the negative thoughts that affect their day-to-day functioning. These interventions are based on the PGAP approach, the cognitive-behavioral approach, and rehabilitation counselling, among others.

With the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and kinesiologist, the client develops strategies to:

  • Manage energy ;
  • Improve posture ;
  • Reduce risk of injury ;
  • Increase strength in order to put in more effort.
