What is Self-Care?
Self-care means taking the time to do things that benefit your mental, emotional and physical health. This entails establishing behaviours that aim for well-being, health, and mangaging sickness when needed.

- Increases happiness
- Improves ability to adapt to change
- Reinforces relationships
- Improves ability to bouce back after a failure

Self-Care Checklist
1. Hydration
Did you drink enough water today?
There are endless benefits to staying hydrated all day long: combats fatigue, reduces acne, helps with digestion, etc.
2. Hygiene
Staying clean allows you to stay foused on other things.
- Shower every day
- Wear clean clothes (even on lazy days)
- Brush your teeth twice a day
- Wash your face
3. Hyperactivity
Did you move today? Get up and do some exercise! Doing 30 minutes of physical activity per day is proven to reduce stress, improve sleep, and can be very fun.
4. Rest
Why is it important to get a good night’s sleep? This can
- Improve memory
- Spur creativity
- Sharpen attention
- Reduce stress
5. Reward
You work hard, recognize it! Don’t save special things for special occasions. Make every day special, and brighten your mood.
6. Recharge
Introvert : Read a book, watch a movie, chill out
Extravert : Go out with friends
Ambivert : How do you feel today? Choose an activity that you always enjoy: a movie, a store, a friend, etc.
It’s ok to take a me day to be a better you
